About Wauneta Care and Therapy Center

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Wauneta Care & Therapy Center (WCTC) was established in 1970 through the efforts of the Frenchman Valley Development Corporation. Over the years, we have undergone several transformations, but one thing that has remained is our dedication to providing quality skilled nursing care to friends and family.

For nearly 50 years, WCTC has thrived thanks to the ongoing support of our community and neighbors. We are proud to be both Medicare and Medicaid certified, and we also assist residents with long-term care insurance.

WCTC provides a comfortable, home-like environment where residents enjoy three nutritious meals a day, with a variety of entrée choices, as well as snacks available throughout the day. Our residents benefit from a full range of engaging activities, many of which are personalized to meet individual needs. Additionally, we take care of laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance, ensuring residents can relax and focus on their well-being.

Our 24-hour nursing staff is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care with professionalism, efficiency, and most importantly, compassion. We prioritize the comfort, safety, and overall health of each resident. Our therapy center is equipped with skilled physical, occupational, and speech therapists, offering comprehensive rehabilitation services tailored to each person’s needs.

At Wauneta Care & Therapy Center, we invite you to visit and experience our warm, welcoming atmosphere—a place where residents are treated like family and hospitality is always at the forefront.

At Wauneta Care and Therapy Center, we are committed to fostering a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for our residents, families, employees, volunteers, and community members. We believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity and compassion.

We provide equal opportunity in employment, services, admissions, and participation without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, religion, veteran status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable law. We are dedicated to creating a culture of fairness, respect, and belonging where every individual feels valued and supported.

Wauneta Care and Therapy Center strives to ensure our policies, practices, and care reflect our commitment to equal opportunity and compassionate service for all.
